For a while now I have been experimenting with writing a monthly newsletter. A friend recommended I try it as an alternative to social media, which is becoming increasingly noisy and fragmented. While I have kept my Facebook and Instagram accounts, and am trying out Bluesky, I thought I would have a go at a longer form of communication too.
My aim in Margin Notes is mostly to let you know about my own book-related news (cover releases, new publications, book launches, interviews), but also to share thoughts and recommendations about other books–old and new–that have been important to me and my family over the years. This month’s musing are related to Easter and Earth Day.
One of the joys of my current job is being able to read and collect so many picture books. I am sharing one of them with you this month: The World Needs Beautiful Things by Leah Rachel Berkowitz and Daniele Fabbri.
You can sign up to get the newsletter in your inbox each month. Enjoy the notes!
