Godly Play Foundation Podcast

What an honour to have the chance to be a guest on the Godly Play Foundation Podcast!

Godly Play has been an important part of my life for many years, shaping both my own spirituality and way of being in the world, and giving me a beautiful way to share stories with children. My own Circle of Wonder books about the liturgical year are shaped by the language and rhythms of Godly Play, and it delights me to see them recommended in the “Deepen Your Shelves” section on the Godly Play Resources website!

Anyway, I was tickled when Joy Studer reached out to invite me to join her in conversation on this podcast created for Godly Play practitioners, trainers, storytellers and fans. We talk about creating space for wonder, having the courage to “let go of the narrative” and experience the freedom that gives both children and grownups, and how wonder and curiosity have shaped my own life and work as a writer and parent.

Joy and Aimee were very gracious hosts and I enjoyed our conversation. You can listen in here.
