I’ve been working on this project for well over a year now and it is close to being finished. Being asked to take on the task of writing a collection of bible stories for children–especially by the publisher of Ralph Milton’s Family Story Bible, which I have used for years–was a real honour.

I have loved every aspect of this work: immersing myself in biblical texts, doing background research, looking for new ways to approach familiar stories, playing with metaphors and images, having insightful conversations with my colleague, artist Ann Sheng. I can hardly wait to hold the finished volume in my hands! It is available now for pre-order through Wood Lake Books.
